What we fix and install
Handles and locksets: Loose handles, sticky latches, and locksets that no longer catch. We replace handles and locksets and adjust the strike so the door closes and latches cleanly.
Doors that stick or will not close: Swollen edges, shifted hinges, and latches that miss the strike. We plane, adjust, and re-hang rather than forcing the door.
Trim: Damaged or missing door casing and trim, replaced and finished to match.
Weatherstripping: Worn or missing weatherstripping around exterior doors — replaced so the door seals against wind, rain, and bugs.
Door replacement: Pre-hung exterior doors and interior slab swaps, installed with hardware and trim adjustments, using doors you supply.
When repair beats replacement
A door that sticks in August humidity may work fine once it is adjusted and sealed — replacement is not always the answer. We will tell you honestly when a repair will hold and when the door itself is done. If the frame is rotted or the door is warped beyond adjusting, replacement is the right call, and we will price it that way.
